Customize your mallet core weight with your choice of Lighter, Standard, or Heavier. Lighter heads allow for more speed and control, but less fundamental. Heavier heads provide more fundamental tone, but less speed on longer handles.
The core hardness affects fundamental tone and articulation characteristics.
Customize your core sound with a finely tuned tone. Darker - Full - Brighter. Each core hardness allows for range of three tones and scales as the hardness increases from Soft to Hard.
BlueHaus offers a complete range of hardwood and rattan handle options.
Standard handle length is 42cm for Birch and Maple handles, and 40cm for Rattan handles. Longer handles will make the mallet head feel heavier. Shorter handles allow for more speed and control.
Choose your yarn wrap and color. Fine Yarn is wrapped with more tension, has a brighter tone, and more contact noise. Wool and Blended Yarn has minimal contact noise, darker tone, and is wrapped with less tension. Medium Fine Yarn performs in between.
Review the specifications for your mallet design. You can go back to any step and make a change.
